Meet The Speakers
Mike Tachick President
Mike Tachick graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in electrical engineering, and has been the president of Dairyland Electrical Industries since 2004. He often instructs on topics of over-voltage protection, safety grounding, isolation, and optimizing cathodic protection systems, dealing with such issues as AC faults, AC induction, lightning protection, DC interference, and related code topics. Mike is passionate about serving others and continuously works to ensure Dairyland reflects this attitude toward the industry. Read Bio.
Tim Bechtel Senior Account Manager
Tim has been in the corrosion industry since 2009 working as a contractor on projects throughout the United States. These projects ranged from installing cathodic protection systems, leak detection, coating inspection, and coating remediation. In April of 2018, Tim moved over to Dairyland Electrical Industries as a Business Development Leader. Tim received his bachelor’s from Central Michigan University in 1992 and his MBA in 2019. Tim is a NACE certified CP 2 and a CIP 3. Outside of work, Tim enjoys driving fun cars and running long distances. Read Bio.
Tony Castillo International Senior Account Manager
Tony joined Dairyland Electrical Industries, the world’s leading manufacturer of solid-state decoupling products used to isolate cathodically protected structures from grounding systems, in 2014 as Electrical Design Engineer where he focused on new product design, product research, product testing, and application support. Recently, he transitioned to Business Development with a focus on international markets. When not in the office, Tony enjoys road and mountain biking, time with family and anything related with cars.
