How do you Live Engaged?
Doing the little things. Dairyland has given me the opportunity to be a part of the big things with their work with IJM, CI, SP and EJI. I feel it’s my job to do the small things myself – help someone with raking leaves, participating in Habitat for Humanity, teaching less fortunate kids in Black Star Drumline. It feels so good to do something so simple as help someone in need. Carrying groceries, changing a tire, driving someone someplace, cooking a needed meal, teaching a kid something new, building needed items for a home, the list is endless.
How/where do you volunteer?
Anywhere I can find someone who needs a helping hand.
