The Cows Take Mt. Everest

Mt Everest Horizontal Wideview

If you have visited Dairyland at any industry trade shows over the years, you likely noticed our mascot of sorts: the cows. These cows represent the pride we have in our home state of Wisconsin as well as our company’s history, where we got our start addressing stray voltage concerns on dairy farms.

In 2016 the Dairyland cows made an epic trip, going to the edge of space. If you missed the video you can watch it here. Since then, they have become increasingly eager to visit new places, whether domestic or international, and last month they did exactly that.

This time the destination was Nepal and their travel companion was Amy – Dairyland’s Customer Service Manager. One of the ways Amy invests in herself – the first area of Live Engaged – is through travel. She and her husband have trekked near and far meeting new people, seeing new sites, and making incredible memories together.

This particular trip involved a bumpy flight and steep climb, but our cows are built like our products…rugged and reliable. In the end they got a breathtaking view of Mount Everest (or, as they say, “Moo-nt Everest”), making it all worthwhile.

Has one of the Dairyland cows traveled with you? We would love to hear the details and add them to the travel log!
