What is the Difference Between “-R” and “non-R” SSDs?
The Dairyland SSD was developed in 2005 as an alternative to the PCR. Both decouplers provide the same functions, but have a few key differences as well—most notably the ratings, package size, and cost. In the time since its release, the SSD has become one of our most popular decouplers, as it can be applied to a wide range of applications.
Dairyland technical experts and customer support personnel are often asked: What is the difference between “-R” and “non-R” SSDs? The following video graphically illustrates the primary differences, while also highlighting the specific applications for which they are best suited.
